BEFORE THE CONSULTATION
BEFORE THE CONSULTATION
At this stage, I recommend you think carefully and define the areas you would like to improve.
Indeed, there is a limit to the amount of fat and the number of body areas that can be treated in a single session of liposuction or lipoaspiration.
THE CONSULTATION
THE CONSULTATION
When we meet for the first time, my aim will be precisely to best frame your expectations and understand if they align with what can actually be achieved with liposuction.
In liposuction, a fundamental part is the careful analysis of the quality of your skin in terms of elasticity. This is crucial for a good final result.
BEFORE THE PROCEDURE
BEFORE THE PROCEDURE
This is the time when you will undergo blood tests and an electrocardiogram. Sometimes, I may also request an ultrasound of the abdominal wall.
THE SURGERY
THE SURGERY
By this stage, you will already be well aware that liposuction can be performed under general anesthesia or local anesthesia with sedation.
The most commonly treated areas include the abdomen, hips, inner and outer thighs, the inner knee area, and the area under the chin.
The liposuction surgery itself can last from 30 minutes to over 2 hours.
AFTER THE PROCEDURE
AFTER THE PROCEDURE
After liposuction, you will need to wear compressive elastic garments for 4 weeks to reduce swelling. However, lymphatic drainage massages can accelerate the elimination of swelling. I strongly recommend them.
Normally, you will return to your lighter daily activities within 3-6 days, while sports activities can resume in 2-4 weeks.
Postoperative check-ups will be scheduled at 1-4 weeks; 3-6 months or more frequently if necessary.
